Check This Out!
Read Luke 1:40-56
"My soul glorifies the Lord and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior." vs. 48
I will only do this occasionally when I feel it is worthwhile. I have attached a link to a sermon preached at Duke University Chapel on the 3rd week of Advent last year. This is an amazing sermon that speaks to the heart of today's passage. I would encourage you to either listen to it or read it today.
May God bless you through this as he did me.

That was an awesome sermon (aside from the fact that it came from Duke's Chapel - Ha! I am a UK Basketball fan so I have to say that)!

Seriously, I finished reading the sermon and one feeling saturated my heart...HOPE. I am reminded that no matter what the state of my world, my country, my city, my neighborhood, my family, or my heart...there is always HOPE. God sent His Son to live and die and live again to give us just that...a sure and everlasting HOPE.

God entered our world and as He did, He promised us His love, power, mercy, guidance, and grace throughout all the days of our life so that we have something that no amount pain, turmoil, or brokenness can take from us. We have something that replaces our blood as our life-giving source. We have something that will never fail to lift our heads, open our mouths, and push out songs of praise to our Redeemer. We have HOPE! Praise the Lord, we have HOPE!
